Aspire Academy Mission Statement

Our mission is to support the whole child by building a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy. We are committed to nurturing students who are respectful, responsible, and safe, and are equipped to achieve their academic and behavioral goals. By collaborating with community partners, we create a supportive environment that removes barriers to learning, providing the resources and opportunities necessary for each student to thrive and succeed.

Pillars of Academic Success

At Aspire Academy, we concentrate on three key pillars to support our students and families, setting the stage for their success. Our pillars include a dedicated focus on Early Childhood education from PreK-2nd grade, WIN (What I Need) Time for personalized learning, and the HomeWorks! Home Visit program to strengthen family engagement and support our students' learning at home. These pillars ensure a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

WIN Time: WIN time offers small group, individualized instruction designed to identify areas of growth and help students achieve their academic goals. For Kindergarten through second grade, WIN (What I Need) Time involves assessing students, grouping them based on their specific needs in ELA and Math, and providing targeted enrichment to support their progress.

Home Visit Program: Aspire Academy and HomeWorks! partner to engage with students and their families in their homes, providing resources and strategies for academic success. The program helps set goals for student growth and strengthens family engagement. Together, we host Parent-Teacher Workshops to supply parents with academic resources and dinners to bring our incredible community together.

Early Childhood: Aspire Academy's focus on early learning is crucial for fostering both behavioral and academic success, equipping students with the foundational skills necessary for lifelong learning and personal growth. By concentrating on the formative years of PreK-2nd grades, Aspire Academy ensures that students are well-prepared to succeed in their future educational endeavors.

Curriculum Focus

Our curriculum emphasizes individualized and small group instruction to elevate students' literacy, numeracy, and writing skills. These goals are achieved through a structured approach that includes targeted support and various enrichment activities.

Targeted Support

  • Individualized and Small Group Instruction: We focus on closing learning gaps through tailored lessons that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Calming Corners and Tutoring: Additional support mechanisms such as calming corners and tutoring are provided to enhance the learning experience and ensure students thrive.

Socio-Emotional Learning

  • Rethink Program: This program helps reinforce socio-emotional learning through Friday Families SEL sessions, providing strategies to support students' overall well-being.

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)

  • Behavioral Promotion: We use PBIS to encourage students to be respectful, responsible, and safe.
  • Recognition Programs: Initiatives like Student of the Week and PBIS parties are implemented to reinforce and celebrate positive behaviors.
